Darviot-Perrin

Darviot-Perrin is a small family business in the village of Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. The winery was founded in 2000 when Didier Darviot and Genevieve Perrin combined their respective vineyards and winemaking skills to create their own label. Today, their daughter Aurore has joined the team to continue the family's legacy.

Darviot-Perrin's vineyards are located in some of the region's most prestigious appellations, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Volnay. The winery uses traditional and sustainable farming methods in the vineyards and all work is done by hand. In this way, wines can be produced that reflect the terroir and showcase the unique characteristics of each vineyard.

In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed and the juice is fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wines are aged in oak barrels, with the proportion of new oak varying depending on the vintage and the wine. The winery produces a range of white and red wines, with a focus on the white wines for which Meursault is famous.

Darviot-Perrin wines are known for their elegance, finesse and balance. The white wines are full-bodied and rich, with aromas of honey, almonds and hazelnuts. The red wines are similarly elegant, with an emphasis on fruit and minerality. Darviot-Perrin is an outstanding producer in Burgundy with its commitment to sustainable agriculture, traditional winemaking and focus on quality over quantity.
