Color
Bright straw yellow with brilliant reflections.
Nose
The nose is exalted with concise aromas from the green-spicy spectrum gooseberries, cassis and cassis leaf, nettles and tomato leaves outline the distinctive cuvée of Cabernet blanc, Scheurebe and Sauvignon blanc. Expressive without superfluous ornamentation, the crystalline fruit is topped by delicately smoky notes in the overtone range.
Mouth
On the nose, Steffen Mugler's 2019 Cuvée XIX-1 is taut with a clearly drawn parting. Everything is in the right place, the collar strengthened and both the buttons and the shoes are polished to a high gloss. The ripe fruit is accelerated by the acidity, also perfectly ripe, which gives it pace and finesse. Crystalline and straightforward, it flows to its destination to refill!
