Nose
The 2016 Cuvée Elena Brut from Andres & Mugler imparts a distinct aroma on the nose. The scent of ripe apples, pears and quince mixes with nutty components, dried fruits and some honey. Delicate mineral, nutty and smoky hints pleasantly round off its scent and give it structure and depth.
Palate
Juicy and creamy with stimulating and precise perlage, it glides over the tongue. Its spicy and mineral style, in combination with notes of cranberries and plums, makes it appear even more pronounced on the palate than on the nose. A sparkling wine that should be served with spicy delicacies.
