Nose
The Champagne Cuvée des Caudalies by de Sousa beguiles in the nose with a compact and densely interwoven minerality. Only after longer opening and sufficient oxygen contact it reveals its complex aroma. Exotic fruits like mango, kumquat and star fruit but also dried fruits, honey, glazed almonds, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger flow towards you. The whole gets a refreshing touch by notes of citrus and elderflower.
Palate
The palate of the Champagne Cuvée des Caudalies by de Sousa impresses with its profound structure, the striking minerality, which we have already noticed in the nose and the fine roasted aromas. Not only a characterful aperitif but also an excellent food companion that impresses with its beautiful length in the reverberation.
