Wine information

White-naped Mountain Gem is the name for a rose variety that is preferably picked early in the morning when it is still fresh and the dew is still on the leaves. This rosé is supposed to be similarly fresh. It is a cuvée of 80 % Grenache Noir and 20 % Carignan Noir. The Grenache Noir comes from a vineyard with vines that are about 30 years old. The vineyard is characterised by limestone gravel and large river pebbles with a high quartz content. The Carignan comes from a vineyard with a mixture of yellow and blue limestone marl and sandstone, pebbles and fossils. After hand harvesting, the grapes were pressed and fermented spontaneously. Ageing took place for six months in tank and the wine was bottled unfined with 45 mg of sulphur.

Color

Elegant apricot with delicate orange reflections.

Nose

The 2021 Cuisse de Nymphe smells charmingly of apricots, red apple, bright red berries, rhubarb and cool chalky notes. A rosé that immediately wins you over, elegant and decisive at the same time.

Palate

On the palate, it convinces with juicy bright fruit, fine fruit sweetness and a discreet tannin that hints gently. Wonderful food companion that makes you dream of the south of France.
