Bright golden yellow with delicate green reflections.
Nose
The 2016 Silvaner Creutz still seems a bit closed due to its youth, but the spirited decanting into the carafe directly helps it up. Bright fruits, such as sweet pear, yellow apple and honeydew melon make the start and pair at the same time with bright flowers and honey, as well as spices reminiscent of ginger and anise. Charming and brightly fruity, this complex wine is introduced.
Palate
The palate of the 2016 Silvaner Creutz lives in the current stage of pronounced fruit and fine fruit sweetness. One senses its mineral complexity, which already flashes, especially in the long reverberation. A wine from old vines with fantastic development potential, which one should forget for a few years in the cellar. The impatient would do well to decant it or to allow it a few days of opening in the refrigerator.
