golden yellow with a distinctive mousseux
Nose
The 2014 Vouvray Pétillant is a full and expressive sparkling wine. It presents all the attributes of a ripe Chenin blanc with notes of beeswax, poached pears, pear quince and candied stone fruit. In addition, there are slightly smoky notes and spices from the Arabian region.
Palate
So ripe the Pétillant appears in the fragrance, so juicy and fresh it is on the palate. The sparkling wine is lining, and this with the juicy yellow fruit as well as with the typical pétillant mousseux, which can not necessarily be called fine, but very independent. In general, this type of sparkling wine has conquered its own place with its balance of elegance and peasant origin. After all, it used to be the simple foamer of the winegrowers. Today, it is a powerful wine of great intensity, which - by the way - can mature excellently and with dignity.
