Serve slightly chilled at approx. 16 °C
Color
Deep violet red, black in the core, clear purple reflections towards the rim.
Nose
The 2019 Côtes du Rhône Village Visan is very intense on the nose. Dark cherries, lots of berry fruit, cassis, elderberry pulp and blueberries make the start. Animating floral notes of lilac, ivy, lavender and wild roses are complemented by liquorice, tar, charcoal and graphite. Already in the nose an extremely animating drop which virtually invites to taste.
Palate
Supple and round with lots of charming fruit on the palate. Its tannin structure is fine-grained, the acidity pleasantly refreshing and invigorating, fine minerality and elegant coolness enhance the drinking flow. Top food companion to hearty and down-to-earth cuisine. A real tasty gourmet!
