Color
Medium, sparkling golden yellow.
Nose
The 1796 Blanc also fascinates in the 2020 vintage with wonderful fruit notes, such as juicy pear, honeydew melon and fresh grapes. The intense Mediterranean impressions of fennel, fennel herb and artichoke, which are very present in 2020, are particularly animating. The wonderful fragrance transports you directly to the wild nature of Corsica and you start to dream.
Palate
Taut and animating with a lot of juiciness, the fruit is fresh and juicy at the same time. Its acidity is playful and perfectly integrated, delicate tannin hints piquantly in the finish. A complex white wine that whets the appetite and makes you think of balmy summer nights.
