Nose
The 2020 Pinot Grigio from Fidora reveals a fine, exotic nose. Passion fruit, mango, pineapple and grapefruit are obviously the dominant players. Lemon peel, lime zest and a little orange provide tart but above all fresh accents. Orange blossom and jasmine are also very subtle. Fresh pears reveal notes of local fruits. As the temperature rises, a clear note of lychee spreads.
Palate
It shows its true strengths right from the start. Juiciness, lightness and digestibility. With very moderate acidity, the fruit is clearly in the foreground. A delicate melt helps it to reach this pedestal. At the same time, the melting is the link between the aromas and flavours. It stands light-footed in the glass. At the same time, it shows a pleasantly restrained sharpness. The fruit is lighter in the aftertaste and clearly less exotic.
