The 2020 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo shows a beautiful earthy depth that is coated by a distinct cherry and berry fruit. Its floral fragrance, reminiscent of wild roses and violets, gives it a beautiful feminine touch. Already in the nose, one recognises a mineral depth that one rarely encounters in such a pleasant price range.
Palate
Spicy and refreshing on the tongue, it is also charming and berry-like. Fine-grained tannin meets invigorating acidity and every sip makes you want to drink more. A perfect red wine with a great drinking flow and a wonderful food companion.
