The wines from the La Collina series by Francesco Cirelli come from organic contract farming on surrounding farms. For this Cerasuolo, the grapes are destemmed, followed by a 24-hour maceration in tanks. The must is then gently pressed and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel. After four months on the lees, it is bottled after a small addition of sulphur.
Color
Bright ruby red, radiant and clear.
Nose
The cherry shines joyfully from the goblet like an anti-aircraft spotlight outside the village disco in the night sky With full fruit ahead and without much adornment, the 2020 Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo by Francesco Cirelli is pure fun for the sunny side of life. With a little air, herbal notes and mild spices emerge, which does not detract at all from the fruity cascades. Super contemporary summer red wine.
Mouth
The joy continues seamlessly on the palate. The rich cherry also shines with full power on the palate and is accompanied by fine tannins that give it the necessary seriousness. Bone dry with a clear structure and fine acidity, it seems almost weightless and is the absolute all-rounder for any occasion.
