Wine information

The Fuorleggero is a rosé Frizzante of the Lambrusco Grasparossa variety. It comes from gravelly soils with vines that are more than 30 years old. After manual harvesting into small crates, the grapes were destemmed and pressed directly. The ageing took place in cement for six months. The wine was then transferred to the bottle and unfermented juice of the same vintage was added to finish the fermentation in the bottle as a rosé sparkling wine. There was no fining, no filtering, no sulphur addition and no dosage. The total sulphur is less than 10 mg.

A sparkling rosé with notes of small red fruits, strawberries, ribs - mineral and fresh.


This Frizzante smells similarly seductive, as do the three graces on the label designed by Vanni's friend, the artist Susan Dutton. The Fuorleggero smells of wild strawberries, freshly crushed and fully ripe, enriched with raspberries, sweet cherries, red currants and tart notes of grapefruit and herbs.


On the palate the Fuorleggero enormously fresh. It's bang-dry with powerful acidity and low pH, energetic, juicy and tart with red, acidic fruit, herbs and rocks. This is a sinewy LambruscoThere's not a gram of fat in it - but not a gram too much in the case of the three graces on the label. This is a throat cleanser, a vitalising froth that awakens your senses and makes you happy when you have something fatty on your plate to go with it.
