Color
Muted garnet red with distinct black and violet hues.
Nose
A Cabernet Franc pure, aromas of sloe, rowan berries, elderberries and blackberries flow into the nose, accompanied by a scent that clearly reminds of green peppers and freshly ground black pepper. A beautifully masculine and at the same time elegant drop.
Palate
On the tongue, dark berry notes give way to sweet cherry fruit in Duemani's 2018 CiFRA. It glides extremely charmingly over the palate and here and there the green pepper flashes, which seems to turn into red pepper, in combination with pepper and a myriad of Tuscan herbs such as rosemary, thyme, juniper and wild sage. Lots of depth and juiciness, Cabernet Franc at its best from the Maremma! Bravo Luca D'Attoma.
