Color
Dark cherry red, delicate violet reflections
Nose
Playful and seductive on the nose. Diverse aromas cavort in the glass and vie for dominance. On the one hand, coffee, mocha and cocoa butter are clearly perceptible. On the other hand, ripe plums, morello cherries, sweet cherries, cassis and elderberries. On the other side, floral notes of violets and pansies with a little lilac. Finally, there is a lot of spice. Black pepper, juniper, cinnamon and a little rosemary add that certain something.
Palate
On the palate, it is totally juicy and underpinned with many green, invigorating accents. The astringency packs a punch, providing freshness and a sleek appearance. Dolcetto in this style, best served slightly chilled, is simply a red wine with a high fun and drinking factor. The aromas come out in the best form, analogous to the nose. It lives from a silky mouthfeel and great juiciness. In the aftertaste, it shows nuances of cassis, elderberry and morello cherry for a long time.
