Nose
The Bourgogne Aligoté is a wine that is immediately present with notes of hay and blond tobacco. Behind the spiciness, notes of apples and citrus fruits gradually appear, as well as some shreds of ginger.
Palate
Also on the palate is the Les Petits Poiriers directly open and accessible. It starts with a pleasant acidity and a fresh citrus juiciness. It is an aromatically bright wine that alternates between green and pale yellow notes and is reminiscent of Meyer lemons and tonic. The Aligoté becomes increasingly salty towards the finish, pushing forward, showing power but also finesse. The acidity seems linear and precise, there is a nice grip on the palate. In the finale, you can also sense a very light caramel note, which gives the wine a charming icing on the cake.
