Color
Muted garnet red with clear violet reflections, almost dense in colour to the rim.
Nose
This 2020 Châteuneuf du Pape Rouge Clos des Papes is a revelation on the nose of dried plum, raspberry, blackberry and cassis accompanied by violet, mint and sandalwood. With a little oxygen contact, cocoa, black olives and liquorice join in. A beguiling, opulent red beauty in liquid form.
Palate
On the tongue, it is silky, juicy and has a fantastic sweetness of fruit. It virtually runs over the tongue, tannin and acidity beautifully polished and harmonious. The perfect wine for dishes with sweet accents and spice.
Decant before drinking if possible and enjoy from a bulbous glass.
