Wine information
30 hectares of vineyards, spread over 17 plots near Jouques, located about 30 kilometres north of Aix-en-Provence in the protection of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, belong to Château Revelette. This is where the 2021 Rosé. It is a cuvée of about two thirds Grenache as well as Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Ugni Blanc. The grape varieties were fermented separately, but left on the skins for eight hours beforehand. Malolactic fermentation was only carried out for some grape varieties, and the wine was matured in cement tanks.

classic salmon
Nose
The Revelette Rosé 2021 is a fragrant and elegant Provence rosé that smells of pink grapefruit and lemons, white peach, some rhubarb and red currants. The fruit is accompanied by herbs of Provence, some chalk and white flowers. The wine is fresh, juicy and summery.
Palate
On the palate, the Revelette offers juice, silkiness and again a pleasant freshness. The acidity seems rather round and silky, but at the same time there is a lively minerality, combined with the fresh fruit of rhubarb, which also brings ripe green notes into play. These combine with grapefruit, knobber cherries and wild strawberries.
