Wine information
30 hectares of vineyards, spread over 17 plots near Jouques, located about 30 kilometres north of Aix-en-Provence in the protection of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, belong to Château Revelette. This is where the 2021 Blanc. It is a cuvée of about 50 % Rolle , Ugni Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. The grape varieties were harvested separately, given around six hours of maceration and fermented at 17°C. There was a malolactic fermentation. The wine was matured in cement tanks.

Nose
The Château Revelette Blanc 2021 appears delicate and elegant with a fine and almost shy nose of hay, orange and lemon zest and with juice, some green fig and broom. With air, one finds a little white stone fruit and some green apple. But above all, an impression of delicate freshness and liveliness remains.
Palate
On the palate, the floral and fruity aromas that could already be found in the bouquet seem stronger, deeper and above all very juicy. In addition, there is a very fine tannin and a hint of blond tobacco spice. In the finish, there is a little salt alongside a piquant fresh note that again reminds one of the abrasion of citrus. The wine successfully combines an almost iodine-like freshness with ripe southern aromas. This makes it a real crowd pleaser with ambition.
