Info about the Crémant
This Crémant is a 100% Chenin Blanc. The fruit comes from an old vineyard with green and purple slate, volcanic rock and quartz. Harvested in early September 2020, bottled on 1 February, dégorgement after 21 months.
Color/Look
Light golden yellow with clear green reflections/vibrant and delicate perlage.
Nose
The 2018 Bulles de Liv Gold animates with the intense scent of herbs, mineral notes of mussel shells and white bread crust, its fruit shows elegance and reminds of quince, pear, apple as well as apple peel. A compact and focused impression of an extremely fine and puristic Crémant.
Palate
On the tongue, it is just as compact with an extremely animating mineral note, which is surrounded by a fine carbonic acid. The fruit of the nose is also elegant on the palate, giving way to the herbal notes and minerality, making it an excellent accompaniment to purist fish and shellfish dishes.
