Wine information
This Crémant is a 100 %iger Chenin Blanc. The fruit comes from an old vineyard with green and purple slate, volcanic rock and quartz. The fruit was harvested with yields around 45hl/ha in the second half of September 2019. After whole cluster pressing and spontaneous fermentation, the Chenin Blanc was drawn to bottle in February 2020, where it underwent a second fermentation. Disgorgement took place in March 2021. The dosage is just under 3 g/l.
Color
intense straw yellow with lively perlage
Nose
The golden Bulles de Live is a Crémant de Loireas it stands in the book. This is Chenin Blanc pure, fresh, powerful and in the exact balance between fruit and spice. The attack reveals notes of ripe yellow pears and quince, ripe lemons and yellow grapefruits combined with a little ginger and an attack of blond tobacco and wet stone. In the background one finds a pen stroke of wax and honey.
Palate
On the palate the Bulles de Liv a pleasantly creamy texture in connection with a lively, but quite silky fine perlage. Here, too, the Crémant shows the successful balance of ripe pome fruit, powerful citrus aspects and a fine spiciness. The Crémant is located on the edge of kstill-dry, but offers a fine sweetness through the fruit, which brings an elegant aspect to the sparkling wine. In addition, it seems extremely lively, fun-loving and offers at the same time pressure and depth, a lot of juice and a light, the drinking flow promoting saltiness in the finish.
