Info

Bruant is a cava made from the Xarello variety. The wine matures for around 15 months in the bottle and is disgorged without further addition of dosage and sulphur, resulting in a free sulphur of only 7 mg/l.

Color/Look

Delicate golden yellow with clear green reflections. Fine and very broadly spread perlage.

Nose

The nose of the 2016 Cava Bruant Brut Nature reminds of wild herbs, green apple peel, lime zest, fennel seeds and dried pastries. Everything seems extremely puristic and distinctive.

Palate

Its palate is spicy and just as distinctive as the nose, it settles on the tongue with a pleasantly demanding piquancy. The fruit on the palate reminds of quince and again of apple and some pear. The carbonic acid is fine and rather restrained in its expression. Its pleasant aftertaste is marked by delicately yeasty notes and clear saltiness. A Cava as a perfect food companion!
