Info about the wine
Juliénas is one of the northernmost crus of Beaujolais. Bottière is a beautiful terroir! This is a throwback to classic Beaujolais from another era. Fermented with 100 % whole clusters, carbonic fermentation and slow pressing. The wine was aged in Burgundian barrels.
Color
Bright light purple, translucent.
Nose
Light fragrance characterises the 2019 Juliénas "La Bottière", raspberry bush, wild strawberries, red currants and peach suggest sweetness on the nose. Essential notes of hibiscus, thyme, juniper and a hint of green pepper add freshness.
Palate
You taste this wine full of expectation, which is wonderfully out of the ordinary with its fine fruit, its clear fruit sweetness, invigorating, delicate tannin structure and lively acidity. A prime example of drinking pleasure, playfulness and uncomplicated wine enjoyment! Be sure to drink chilled in Burgundy glasses.
