Color
Dark violet red with purple reflections.
Nose
The 2019 Blauer Zweigelt presents itself fruity and distinctive at the same time. Dark fruits such as blackberries, elderberries, sloes and blueberry jam combine with spicy aromas reminiscent of green peppers, black olives, boxwood and pepper.
Palate
A juicy wine that shows a lot of fruit and minerality. Its animating acid and tannin structure appears polished and tempts the palate to take one or two more sips. An entry-level wine that knows how to convince with finesse and structure. The delicately salty, spicy finish makes you want to accompany down-to-earth cuisine.
