Blanc de Noir trocken 2019

Steffen Mugler is an uncomplicated, fun-loving, entertaining Palatinate native who is always in a good mood. At the same time, he is strongly connected to his home and the Palatinate landscape. He comes from a renowned winery in the Mittelhaardt region, but has found his wine home with his wife Daniela in Maikammer on the Southern Wine Route. Since 2002, the two have been running the winery Manfred Schädler in Maikammer and manage its vineyards. They have carefully modernized the farm and converted the viticulture to biodynamic cultivation. This is noticeable. The wines become more expressive, complex and lively from year to year. His credo "The guiding principle in all our actions in the vineyard and cellar is to live in harmony with nature and to promote it to the best of our ability."

With the 2016 vintage, we launched a joint wine with Steffen for the first time. Since that time, we have had the opportunity to create very individual, finely tuned Vinaturel-to create wines with him. The collection is rounded off by specially designed labels, which reflect the combination of Vinaturel with the winemaker and the vineyard. A new cuvée is the Blanc de Noir.

The 2019 Blanc de Noir by Steffen Mugler is a juicy fresh white wine from red grapes, which smells intensely of sliced nectarines, lemon drops and also a little of sweet cherries. There are also notes of grated stone, grapefruit zest and also a slightly lactic creamy component. Everything here seems like you should urgently try the first sip and not think too long. 

Fact! This is a wine that flows down the throat faster than you can look around. Yet the wine runs dead straight as if on a silk-lined track. The acidity is soft and round, the fruit with a slight sweetness oscillates between yellow and red fruit of stone fruit and a little stone fruit and a very tiny bit of citrus. With this blanc de noir you don't want to get complicated, you just want to enjoy the simple things in life. Santé!
