Nose
The 2018 Bianco di Ampelia, made from mash-fermented Trebbiano grapes, is a delight on the nose. Peach, bright flowers, honey and apple skin mingle with malty cereal notes, wine yeast and dried ginger. Extremely animating, this puristic wealth of aromas is marked by an intoxicating depth.
Palate
On the tongue the impression arises as if one had bitten into a fresh apple. The fruit mixes with an animating acidity and the slight tartness of the peel. This incredibly refreshing and animating drink comes with delicate 11 Vol%. Delicate saltiness and subtle stony notes define its finish. A wine to meditate and indulge in, a soulful drop that just wants to be. If you combine it with food, you would do well to use ingredients with a distinctive flavour of their own and to prepare them as naturally as possible.
Food recommendation
Drink decanted, not too cold from a large glass.
