Color
A brilliant straw yellow with white-gold reflections shines clear and brilliant from the glass.
Nose
The fragrances of the 2014 Côte aux Prêtre from Chateau de Béru are compact and slowly but steadily ensnare the nose. Yellow and white flowers of sunflowers, linden and chamomile meet the ripe fruit of candied orange zest, Sharon fruit and quince jelly. White chocolate with sea buckthorn and cornflakes contributes considerably to the temptation.
Palate
With its expressive attack on the palate and the wine-turned-twists of a lime zest over a dirty martini with olive, the 2014 Chablis Côte aux Prêtre from Chateau de Béru impresses with its immense freshness. The rather cool year 2014 is reflected in this wine compact and full of youth. The wine has found its center, but the past years seem to have passed by without a trace, because with accurate, vital acidity and salty finish, it shows no signs of maturity.
