Color
Brilliant golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
The 2016 Riesling B.B.H.M. offers immense freshness on the nose. Green apple, citrus, candied lemon, lime, fresh ginger and lemon balm make it appear exceedingly youthful despite advanced maturity. It has to go into the carafe, then anise, minerals, cool wet stone and a little wood smoke join in.
Palate
The palate is sharp, vibrant acidity meets fresh fruit and fine tannin, an unbelievable saltiness is drawn over the tongue. Due to its wonderfully fresh and youthful structure, you can let it mature for a few years without any problems. If one would like to enjoy it in already now, rich and full-bodied dishes offer themselves. This Riesling will inspire them, promised!
