Color
Muted golden yellow.
Nose
On the nose, the 2014 Auxey-Duresses smells of ripe pear, stewed apple, apricot and also shows some exotic hints reminiscent of pineapple. Smoky hints of light tobacco and vanilla and roasted almonds underline its fine character.
Palate
On the palate, the 2014 Auxey-Duresses offers juicy fruit, fine mineral notes and fresh hints of citrus and citrus zest. Lots of citrus and salt in the long and animating finish.
It should not be enjoyed too cold from a Burgundy glass.
