Color
Brilliant golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
The 2021 Auxerrois from Michael Andres is elegant with fine fruit of apple, pear, quince, some lemongrass and lime. With a little air, hints of almonds, yeasty notes and mussel shells are added. An extremely complex and exciting white wine that is worth exploring.
Palate
On the palate, it is juicy with the fine fruit of the nose and an invigorating acidity, in combination with an extremely fine salty trace, which also has an extremely invigorating effect. A wine that is absolutely at its best when accompanied by various dishes that may be characterised by fruity and spicy components.
