Info about the wine

AURORA, meaning Alba, is also the name of a small and pretty native butterfly, threatened with extinction, with Etna in the background.

The plot is located in the municipality of Milo - Etna East at 750 meters altitude, Carricante 90% and Minnella bianca 10%

Volcanic land, sandy high percentage of ripiddu (lapilli and pumice)

Info about the expansion

Harvest at the beginning of October, direct pressing of whole grapes with static and natural must clarification for about 30 hours, addition of indigenous yeasts, fermentation in steel tanks, minimal filtration and addition of sulphur during bottling at the end of April/beginning of May.

5500 litres yield per hectare, 10,000 bottles

Delicate, elegant golden yellow with silvery reflections.

The 2019 Aurora Bianco beguiles the taster immediately on the nose honeycomb is accompanied by sweet fruit reminiscent of melon, pear jam, stewed quince and dried mango. The whole is in harmony with cedar wood notes, anise, dried meadow flowers, innumerable herbs and white nougat. A charming start and incredibly fresh and challenging first impression.

On the tongue, one perceives melting and density combined with an invigorating freshness and delicate pleasant citrus notes. Its juicy fruit, which seems almost more present on the palate than on the nose, envelops the palate. An incredibly powerful and animating drop with pleasantly provocative spice in the finish.
