Color
Deep and brilliant golden yellow.
Nose
The nose of Mesquida Mora's 2016 Acrollam Blanc literally explodes with plenty of yellow aromas reminiscent of mango, mirabelle plum and orange, while also suggesting dandelion, sweet corn and golden honey. With oxygen contact, intense herbal notes of rosemary, fennel herb, thyme and wild sage join in. The brilliant aroma is carried by concise and stony minerality, the sea breeze of Mallorca literally spills over the edge of the glass.
Palate
The palate of the 2016 Acrollam Blanc from Mesquida Mora is no less intense than on the nose. The dense yellow fruit of the nose combines with a grippy structure, lots of herbal spice and a carpet of saltiness and minerals. Tannin, acidity and juicy fruit make this expressive Malloquín a very special drop worth discovering.A delight solo or in combination with an equally intense herbal cuisine. Great storage potential.
