Color
Dark cherry red, velvety and shiny
Nose
Numerous nuances of berry fruits pour loudly from the glass. Blackberry, raspberry, but also figs, cassis and sweet cherries. Beetroot and tomato. A little caraway, aniseed and marjoram provide a lot of spice. Roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate also complement this successfully. A little garrigue, the Mediterranean lifestyle in olfactory form par excellence, rounds it off successfully.
Palate
As befits the modern Priorat, this wine also covers all facets. Dark, dense fruit concentration, intensity and generously portioned fruit. At the same time rich and silky cool on the palate. The slate minerality comes through in full. Hardly any tannin and a crisp acidity provide contrasting points again and again. Despite all the density of aromas and mouthfeel, it still appears elegant and marked by finesse.
